DODE Meetings
Navajo Nation Board of Education Meetings
The Department of Diné Education and the members of the Navajo Nation Board of Education convene monthly for a regular meeting or as needed for special meetings.
The department program managers share their latest developments to the board, schools present their data for reauthorization, and the direction of the department and impact of state and federal rulings are discussed by DODE staff and the Board members. Members of the public can submit a Comment Request Form to get onto the agenda as well.
The meetings are held the first Thursday of every month. They are held in-person in a determined venue and guests can join online through Zoom.

School Leadership Meetings
The Department of Diné Education hosts monthly meetings to discuss recent updates and initiatives that the department is undertaking with superintendents and board members of Navajo Nation schools.
Along with the department PIO, DODE leaders and program managers join to share their own developments as well. Staff from the Navajo Nation Office of the President and Vice President, the Navajo Department of Health, and other guests have also joined our discussions that pertain to our Navajo Nation schools. These issues include tribal news, state news, health advisories on the Navajo Nation, and more.
